As venture capital investors we seek a good balance in the differentiation of our portfolio of investments across different sectors, limiting at 50% the weight of the "digital". 

 

We focus our investments on start-ups based in Italy that can enjoy the tax benefits provided by local laws, but we are not closed to other opportunities.  We have a 4 years horizon for disinvestment. 

 

When we are the first investors in the company, we can take a seat on its board that allows us to participate more actively in the early stage life of the venture, and also to leverage on our network to facilitate its growth and to raise additional capital. 

 

The members of 3LB Seed Capital also may participate individually and in parallel in the company's equity.
